Use 12Bot in Claude & ChatGPT
Connect your workspace and manage leads, chats and automations by simply asking. Anything customer-facing needs your approval first.

What the connector can do
The connector uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard way AI assistants plug into business tools. It works on your behalf using your own 12Bot account and permissions.
Look things up
Search your knowledge base and read conversations, leads, connected channels and call history — just by asking.
Build flows
Browse templates, create draft flows, let 12Bot’s flow-builder AI build them from a plain-language request, and test with a dry run.
Comment automations
Create and manage Instagram and Facebook comment-to-DM automations, including the follower gate. New rules start paused.
Act with your approval
Send replies, place calls and publish flows — only after you approve each action in the 12Bot dashboard.
Connect in four steps
You need a 12Bot account, your 2FA code if enabled, and a Claude or ChatGPT plan that supports connectors.
Claude
Add 12Bot
Find 12Bot in Claude’s connector directory and add it (Settings → Connectors).
Sign in on 12Bot
Claude opens the 12Bot sign-in page. Log in with your normal 12Bot email and password — Claude never sees them.
Enter your 2FA code
If you turned on two-factor authentication, enter the code, then allow access.
Start chatting
Try: “List my open leads from this week.”
ChatGPT
Add 12Bot
In ChatGPT open Settings → Apps / Connectors, find 12Bot and add it.
Sign in on 12Bot
Log in on the 12Bot page that opens and enter your 2FA code if prompted, then allow access.
Enable it in a chat
Start a chat and turn on the 12Bot app for it.
Ask away
Try: “Show my latest conversations.”
If an app asks for a server URL, use https://mcp.12bot.io/mcp
Things to ask
Look things up
- “Which leads came in today and what stage are they in?”
- “Summarize the last conversation with this customer.”
- “Search our knowledge base for the refund policy.”
- “Which channels are connected, and are they all healthy?”
Build automations
- “Create a flow that greets people who message “admission”, asks which course they want, and saves their phone number.”
- “Run a test of that flow with the message “hi”.”
- “Set up an Instagram comment automation: when someone comments “price”, DM them our price list.”
Approving actions
Drafts, searches and dry runs happen freely. Anything that affects real customers — replies, calls, publishing a flow, turning an automation on or changing a live one — needs your approval. New automations always start paused.
Safe by design
Your password stays private
You sign in on 12Bot’s own page. The assistant never sees your password or your 12Bot login tokens — only limited, revocable session tokens.
Your role, your workspace
The assistant can only see and do what your 12Bot role allows, inside your own workspace. Connector activity is audit-logged.
Human approval for risky actions
Replies, calls, publishing flows and turning automations on all need your explicit one-time approval.
Disconnect anytime
See every linked app under Settings → Connected AI apps and disconnect any session instantly. Admins can switch AI assistants off for the whole workspace.
